Mind Play Meetup is designed to be friendly, respectful, curious, playful, and beginner-friendly.

To help keep it that way, please follow these community guidelines.

Be respectful.

Treat people with kindness, patience, and basic human decency. Different opinions and experiences are welcome when shared respectfully.

Be curious, not argumentative.

Questions are welcome. Endless debates, nitpicking, terminology wars, or trying to prove how smart you are will make the group less enjoyable for everyone.

No selling or recruiting.

Please do not use the group to sell services, recruit clients, promote products, build your email list, pitch MLMs, or privately message members with offers unless you have clear permission.

No harassment or intimidation.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats, creepy behavior, or repeated unwanted contact are not welcome here.

No intoxication at events.

Please do not attend events under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. The group needs to stay safe, comfortable, and clear-headed.

Participation is encouraged, not forced.

This is an experiential group, so you will usually get more from it when you participate. You are always free to decline an exercise, demonstration, or volunteer opportunity.

Beginner questions are welcome.

You do not need to know the terminology. You do not need to have experience. Curiosity is enough.

Respect privacy.

Do not share someone else’s personal story, image, video, or comments outside the group without permission.

Events may be recorded.

Some events may include photography, audio recording, or video recording for educational, community, promotional, membership, course, or social media use. Event pages and registration forms will include relevant details when recording applies.

This group is not therapy.

Mind Play Meetup is educational, experiential, social, and personal-development focused. It is not medical care, psychological treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or crisis support.

Help make the group enjoyable.

Ask questions.

Share useful thoughts.

Encourage others.

Try things.

Have fun.

And help create a community where curious people can explore interesting things about the mind together.

Please use the Introductions or General Discussion channels for replies and questions.
